Event Objective: Give attendees a practical, easy-to-understand overview of what it takes to purchase a home—from deciding whether they are financially ready through making an offer and closing—while connecting them with trusted professionals who can explain the financial, legal, and real estate considerations involved.

The goal is not for attendees to leave knowing every detail of buying a home. The goal is for them to leave understanding:

  • Where to start
  • What "ready to buy" actually means
  • Who is involved in the process
  • What costs to expect
  • What questions to ask
  • What common mistakes to avoid
  • What their next step should be
