Whitefish, Mont. – Oct. 7, 2019 – Whitefish Credit Union, the state’s largest credit union serving the residents of Northwest Montana, recently welcomed Greta Espenson as Commercial Loan Officer. In her role, Greta assists business owners and real estate investors with business loans and lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, and property investments.
Greta brings 5 years of commercial lending experience to her new position. Prior to joining Whitefish Credit Union, Greta served as a Commercial Loan Processing Supervisor at Glacier Bank. In that role, she gained knowledge of a wide variety of commercial loans. Before that, Greta served for 8 years in retail management for a Fortune 100 company.

Greta earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington. She graduated from the Leadership Flathead program in 2017 and is an active member of Flathead Area Young Professionals. Greta and her husband are Big Mountain skiing devotees and avid summer hikers. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2019. They enjoy sharing their passion for the outdoors with her.

I sincerely enjoy helping build local businesses. It’s always exciting to see and be a part of the growth in the valley.”
