WHITEFISH, Mont. – Nov. 13, 2019 – Whitefish Credit Union, Montana’s largest credit union serving over 55,000 member-owners, is pleased to congratulate David Fennessy on his recent promotion to Commercial Loan Officer.
“Dave has steadily moved up the ranks since he joined the Credit Union in 2010. It’s rewarding to promote one of our own to a leadership role” said Scott Blodgett, Commercial Loan Manager. “Dave naturally grew into the Commercial Loan Officer position, bringing the complete package of knowledge, experience, relationships, and member service. He’s an integral part of our team and a valuable asset to our membership.”
David joined Whitefish Credit Union as a teller and was quickly promoted to the Commercial Lending team where he served in positions of increasing scope and responsibility. Prior to the Credit Union, David worked in the the financial services industry in security and advising capacities. He began his professional career serving the Marine Corps, during which time he was deployed overseas to Iraq.
In his role as Commercial Loan Officer, David helps business owners achieve their objectives by securing financing that fits their unique needs. Whitefish Credit Union began offering small business loans in 1934. Today, the Credit Union continues its commercial lending tradition with a wide variety of products and services to help local businesses grow and thrive with competitive loan rates, business lines of credit, equipment loans, business credit cards, and commercial real estate loans.
David grew up in Whitefish, where he started skiing Big Mountain at the age of 3. He and his wife of fifteen years and their four sons live in the Flathead Valley. They take full advantage of the summer season by boating, camping, and hiking. In his remaining free time, David coaches his youngest son’s football team.
