WHITEFISH, Mont. – Dec. 30, 2019 – Whitefish Credit Union, the state’s largest credit union serving over 55,000 residents of Northwest Montana, is pleased to welcome Toby Shannon to the Commercial Lending team. In his role as Commercial Loan Officer, Toby helps business owners and real estate investors with business loans and lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, and property investments.
Toby brings over 22 years of banking experience to Whitefish Credit Union, 16 of which spent in commercial lending. Toby built his financial services career throughout the state of Montana, spending time in Helena, Billings, Butte, and Anaconda before his recent move to the Flathead Valley. Prior to joining Whitefish Credit Union, Toby spent 17 years at Wells Fargo serving in a variety of lending and banking roles.
“Toby is a business lending veteran who brings a wealth of knowledge to our Commercial Lending team,” said Scott Blodgett, Commercial Loan Manager. “His deep experience working in our industry, and in other areas of Montana, is an incredible asset to our team and to our members.”

Toby was born and raised in Montana and earned his degree in business from Montana State University. In his spare time he enjoys sampling local brews and working on classic cars.
